Version History

Coaching, community comparison, and the free-tier history model. This is the line that started as the 1.1 coaching release and is the version in the app today.

Coach

• Coach Mode — invite students with a shareable code or link, manage a roster with last session, Elite/Good/Developing tiers, and trend arrows.
• Student analytics — open a student’s averages, bests, Skill Score, and session history (with consent).
• Assignments — assign a test to one student or the whole roster, with a target score, due date or weekly cadence, and an optional note. Open assignments do not count against the free cloud limit.
• Push notifications — alerts when a student connects or an assignment completes (when APNs is configured).
• Student control — choose what to share; revoke a coach anytime. App is for ages 13+.
• Coach subscription — separate plan (~$29.99/mo or $300/yr) alongside Golf Test Pro Premium.

Analytics & practice

• How You Compare — anonymized community benchmarks by handicap band (no public leaderboard or named profiles).
• Skill Score & Performance Index — clearer 0–100 scoring and predicted practice handicap across your tests.
• Club & dispersion charts — per-club offline / Disp 90% and shot scatter for saved sessions.
• My Golfer Card & session scorecards — share polished cards from your iPhone.
• Free tier — everyone can save. Analytics preview is the last 2 sessions on device. Signed-in free accounts can also create up to 30 cloud sessions per 30 days. Premium unlocks unlimited cloud history, Performance Index, and club charts. How You Compare stays available without Premium.
• Assigned saves — free players can save sessions that match an open coach assignment without burning Premium.

Fixes & reliability

• Hardened subscription verification, account deletion, and deploy CI.
• Session scoring aligned with server-computed results.
• Clearer auth errors, tap targets, and session presentation polish.
• Website updates: coaching & analytics marketing, community scores page, monitor landing pages, Smart App Banner, and working Terms link.

Marketing version in Xcode is 1.4.2. Build numbers are separate. 1.03 is the previous App Store line, before Coach and the free last-2 / 30-session cloud policy.
