Golf Test Pro ("we," "our," or "us") is a mobile application built for golfers who want to track and improve their practice performance. We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Golf Test iOS application and the backend services that power it (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Short version: We collect only the data needed to run your account and save your practice sessions. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
We collect information in two ways: information you provide directly, and information generated automatically when you use the app.

We do not collect your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or any other device sensor data. We do not collect biometric data or health information.
We use the information we collect solely to provide and improve the Service:
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the Service.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
No advertising SDKs are included in the Golf Test Pro app. There are no tracking pixels or ad networks. Sign in with Apple is authentication only, not a social advertising integration.
We retain your account data and practice sessions for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your account credentials first (so you can no longer sign in), then remove your profile and other personally identifiable information. Practice session and shot records may be retained in anonymized form (not linked to your email, name, or user ID) so we can operate the Service, improve scoring, and support community benchmarks. Anonymized records are not used to identify you.
Anonymized, aggregated usage logs (containing no personally identifiable information) may be retained for up to 12 months for service improvement purposes.
If Community benchmarks is enabled on your profile (it is on by default), we include your completed session scores and handicap band in a daily rollup. The public API only returns a band's statistics after that band has at least 30 sessions. Opting out stops new inclusion on the next daily job. You can opt out at any time in Profile.
We take the security of your data seriously and apply industry-standard safeguards:
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

Golf Test Pro is for users 13 and older only. We do not offer an under-13 experience, we do not collect birth dates, and we do not use guardian-consent flows. Creating an account or connecting a coach requires an in-app attestation that you are 13 or older (and, for coaching, consent to the listed data scopes). Those confirmations are attestations only — we do not store a birth date. You can revoke a coach link at any time in Profile. If you believe someone under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete the account information promptly.
The Service integrates with the following third-party services. Each is governed by its own privacy policy:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via the email address associated with your account or via an in-app notice.
Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

They do not represent any official standard, certification, or endorsement from any golf organization or third party.
Skill Score disclaimer: The Golf Test Pro Skill Score (1–100) is a proprietary performance rating based on our own independently developed algorithm. It is not derived from, affiliated with, or validated by any golf governing body, tour, launch monitor manufacturer, or third-party rating system.

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User” or “you”) and Golf Test Pro (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the Golf Test Pro application (“App”), you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple iOS devices that you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with this Agreement and Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.
You may not:
Golf Test Pro is an independent application. As detailed in Section 12 above, the App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any golf organization, governing body, professional tour, equipment manufacturer, or training program. The Skill Score (1–100) system and all performance benchmarks are original creations proprietary to Golf Test Pro.
You retain ownership of all practice data you enter into the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to provide the Service. We do not sell your practice data. We share it only as described in the Privacy Policy (for example with a coach you connect, or as anonymized session/shot records after account deletion). The App is intended for users 13 and older only.
Paid features require an active subscription. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Refunds are subject to Apple’s refund policy. We have no ability to issue refunds directly.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GOLF TEST PRO, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THIS AGREEMENT OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP OR ITS SUBSCRIPTION IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $10.00 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
This Agreement is effective until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically and without notice if you violate any term. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices. We may also terminate or suspend your access at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the federal or state courts located in California.
